We will open with a youth slam, where teens compete for cash prizes and the point is not the points, but the poetry! 

Following that, Mill City Speaks, Lowell's hometown poetry slam team, will take on our sister venue from Cambridge, Massachusetts, the Lizard Lounge! Metaphorical sparks will fly, the winners will claim their cash (and glory), but everyone will go home full of poetry. 

Come join us in a living tribute to the spirit of Jack Kerouac, combining art and spoken word.
