2 Workshops, 1 Slam

Feb. 18, 2022: 8pm to 10pm, Winterfest (at Lowell Memorial Auditorium).

Winterfest is Lowell’s annual festival that includes live music, food vendors, an Art Market, entertainment and a soup competition! This year, for the first time, it will include a poetry slam!

We want to do a team slam, with two teams competing in five rounds including at least one group poem each, for $200 in prize money.

To do that, we need to get a couple of teams up and running, so we are doing 2 Workshops, prior to the festival:

Feb. 5, 2022: 12 noon to 3pm, Community Room, Pollard Library in Lowell.

And

Feb. 12, 2022: 12 noon to 3pm, Community Room, Pollard Library in Lowell.

At these workshops, we will write new stuff, give each other supportive feedback, and develop some killer performance skills in preparation for the slam on Feb. 18.
